Catherine de CourcyCreative Writing Workshop: Adventures on a page: writing about the wonders of travel

How do we write about the highs and lows of our travel experiences? In this writing workshop, Catherine de Courcy will use fun, fast-paced exercises that will make it easy for anyone to write about their own adventures.

Biography: Irish writer, Catherine de Courcy, returned to Ireland in 2003 having spent eighteen years abroad, first in Papua New Guinea and then in Australia. She turned her Australian outback travel adventures into two highly successful travel guides, Desert Tracks, and River Tracks. She became an international authority on the history of Australian zoos, publishing four related books in Australia and contributing to numerous Australian and American publications. She also published short historical books in Ireland and Papua New Guinea.
